Location and views were tremendous. Property was cosy and very functional, well worth the visit. Sitting in the hot tub overlooking Loch Inver and the village of Lochinver in glorious sunshine was wonderful, views of Suilven unmissable. We went before the midges started to bite, early May, don't know what it's like later on in the season.

Everything worked as it should except the Wi-Fi. If you're like me and can do without internet access for a week it's okay but if you depend on internet access for work or social media it's poor and patchy.

Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent value for money for both accommodation and food, restaurant food is standard pub fare but we'll cooked (excellent chips). The unbelievable history of this property is highlighted in the welcome pack and well worth the stay just for this.

Would have liked a few restaurant dishes on the menu and an option of a cooked breakfast, some better wines also. Struggled to get anything better than warm water.

Richard and Sarah were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb: tasty and there were many different kind of choices to choose from, incl. gluten free and vegetarian. The room was very cosy and everything worked well together.

The cottage we were put in was damp, the bedding constantly felt damp. It smelled overly of damp and cleaning sprays. The grout in the shower was mouldy. The room had inadequate lighting. The mattress was cheap and thin as were the pillows. Will NEVER book again

Put in a disabled room . We are not disabled. Is this a policy, as this happens often when we book through booking.com? No mention that the bar shut at 11pm ;We had a late arriving flight. The shower was a trickle…useless. There was a loud whistling noise from the air vent that we couldn’t turn off so it was really difficult to sleep ; turned the air-con. off as that was even noisier. All in all. It was terrible. Wouldn’t recommend.
