The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for sightseeing in the town. The hotel exuded a historic vibe, which was complemented by the comfort of the rooms and the overall cleanliness. The bed was very large and comfortable, and the bathroom was generously sized, both of which were fantastic.

The doors to the rooms were rather loud, mine needed an extra forceful shove to close properly. The AC fan in the bathroom did not have an off switch, which was unusual, however not a huge problem!

Location only. The images gave me a unrealistic idea of the conditions of the place. We wanted a place to spend the night where I could rest and have a proper shower but the conditions as disgusting to say the least.

The room was really beautiful with nice decor and cups with saucers plus filtered coffee. Milk in fridge in tiny glass bottle.Silver coffee pot, love it.

The car park overnight was £20 - we arrived at 2:30 pm and left in the morning about 10am It should be less for clients in the hotel.

Location was great - very central but quiet at the same time. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and accomodating.

Everything was great. A bit of a nuisance that we couldn't pay in cash, but there you go. The tea bags were not the best and there could have been more milk and sugar supplies in the room.

Very large and impersonal dining room. No proper bar with seating area. Staff were polite but the place seemed mildly chaotic. It didn't feel welcoming and lively. Quiet dead. The stairs to the rooms were filthy. We found parts of a dead bird, feathers and dirt on the walls.

The state of the shower trap. It was disgusting. Have tried to raise the issue with the hotel management and company, just to be passed from one to another. Still waiting to hear from all concerned nearly 2 weeks later.

Food very nice, portions need to be larger with evening meals. Quality of sliced bread served at breakfast could be better.
