Beautiful hotel, welcoming staff, spacious bedroom, comfortable, big tv and AC/Heating were easy to control. I loved the breakfast. I loved the fact that the bar opens until 11pm weekends. I just wish I had the time to use the spa facilities.

Our room was not cleaned and our towels were not changed. We had to ring room service to bring new towels. This was a little disappointing. The toilet didn’t flush well. The bath tub had old stains.

I booked this hotel on behalf of my husband, his comments to me… The staff were pleasant and accommodating, the breakfast was good, the parking was reasonable at £9.00 and he was able to leave the car until 3.00pm on the day of departure.

The first room my husband was given was a good size but quite dark and rather shabby, the second room was situated at the side of the hotel, it was a little better and brighter. Unfortunately the once beautiful Imperial Hotel is in need of updating to bring it back to its former grandeur, and it’s four star rating.

I expected a cheap motel type place for the price. It was probably the best hotel I have stayed in at this price range. Excellent rooms - large - good facilities. Good shower. Very friendly staff.
