Good: This was my second stay here in the same week and this time I had a bright, comfortable, double room on the first floor with a large window overlooking the street. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was fine. The only negative is that the light within the mirror over the basin was not working. The large lounge area on entering the reception is very comfortable, with good sofas and a large TV and bar. Breakfast is adequate and the breakfast room is bright and clean. There is a lockable bike shed.

Every detail was well thought out from the overall design and decor of the house to the wonderful selection of fresh produce provided for breakfast. We wanted to wind down after a hectic time in Europe and UK. It was a joy to be able to relax in the charming courtyard and garden as well as enjoy the all the comforts of the house. Our hosts, Sam and Tim could not have been more welcoming.

The location was fantastic, Clifton Village was seconds away with great restaurants and shops and the suspension bridge 5 mins away. We walked into Bristol in 15 mins (steep hill back up but doable or you can get the bus.) Lovely breakfast at the hotel.

The room was really small! Would have preferred not to have to choose what we wanted for breakfast before we'd arrived at the hotel.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the beds were very comfortable, a plus is we could leave our suitcases in reception so we were able to get another good half a day sight seeing.

The only thing was the stairs but that’s only as I have mobility issues so found them hard to get up and down

I missed the small print about no extra beds for our 4 year old. Luckily the super king bed was plenty big enough though.

Every were was dirty door handles coming of when u opened the living room door the shower keep moving when it should be static floors were sticky when we arrived so we had to clean everywhere and the cooker well what can I say about that it was ridiculous the bed wasn't comfy as my partner is disabled and it caused her a lot of problems for the rest of the stay
