Excellent accommodation and incredibly welcoming hosts. Very spacious room with everything and more that you needed for a short stay. If the room didn’t have it you didn’t need it. Great breakfasts in a farmhouse setting. One of the best b&bs we have stayed in.

Easy walking distance from the train station, bed clean & fairly comfortable, fresh towels provided . Room not serviced, but this meant we could come & go as it suited us. We requested a lower floor due to no lift, and were allocated 2nd (of 5) floor.

It has seen better days. Stairs steep and stair carpet threadbare in places. Shower rail loose, towel rail hanging by one screw, wardrobe cupboard door hinge loose. Very noisy (close to pubs/ restaurants, taxi rank opposite)

Not as appears in the photos. House was in desperate need of a deep clean and some of the decor was very tired and shoddy, in fact wall paper coming off the walls in places and whole house smells musty like mould. Under radiators particularly in front room was literally black with dust, cobwebs and mould. Very disappointed as only one other review seems to mention this. I did not have an opportunity to take photos but I wish I had. The house is located away from the main street down a long unlit alley. Whilst the add says parking available, it is not clear that you will need to park at least 40ft away on the road, leaving your car out of sight from the house. We arrived very late and it was dark and raining. Not ideal with two small children and luggage. The owner was not very responsive to my booking. We booked fairly late in the day for the same evening due to a family emergency, and although the booking was accepted by booking.com, we didn't get any response from the owner for several hours after dozens of calls and messages. We did not gain access to the property until gone 9pm

Alarm type noises screeching in my roof all night . Room had been given to another guest who had moved . Hotel knew there were issues but didn’t care . No power sockets or air conditioning as turned off by hotel staff in attempt to stop the noise . Management still not made contact . No refund . They cancelled numerous people that night at 10 pm as no rooms . One lady was asked to wait 30 minutes to get a room made up at 10.30 !
