  Booked here as working in Birmingham and all hotels this week at double/ triple the price due to big local concerts. Easy train ride from New St and nice suburb Bournville. Very comfortable bed and very clean flat. Good tv Wi-Fi -not modern and fancy but great value for money - cafe was closed Mon and Tues but has excellent reviews

  The location was absolutely perfect- minutes away from the Co op live arena. The apartment was spacious, well equipped and clean, with comfy beds. Free safe parking was a great bonus. The host was very prompt with communication and very friendly.

  Very minor improvements eg bullet points for entering the apartment; WiFi info clearly on display and maybe some milk if you wanted a cup of tea (there was a great little coffee maker for coffee drinkers)

  Short walk from the train station. Check in was swift. Breakfast was fine, nothing special.

  Room was very tired, felt like a youth hostel room with laminate flooring and a modular cubicle bathroom. Grubby curtains didn't properly cover the window so light came in. Room was really hot and stuffy (and it wasn't a particularly hot day), but opening windows meant a noisy night's sleep with city traffic noise. No proper aircon in room. No iron or ironing board in room. No restaurants near by. Building work taking place in hotel and across the road. Very poor value for money.
