The staff are a credit to the hotel nothing was to much trouble for them they were all very cheerful and attentive to their guests I had to access fridge medication every night as there was no fridge in the room this was stored for me downstairs I would just ask and they would get it for me I never had to wait. The food was really good plenty of choice at breakfast and we ate at the hotel every night as the food was so nice. The rooms were spotless and serviced daily. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Apartment was fabulous, fabulously furnished, cosy and spacious. Great location, a short walk into the centre and backs onto the park. Secured, gated parking. Under floor heating was great. Plenty of storage. Fairly quiet at night given its on a main road and close to the centre. The apartment has everything you could need and want for a short stay.

Very happy with our stay - the only downside was that our car was parked in the designated apartment space and after a couple of nights was absolutely covered in bird muck to the point that the windscreen required cleaning before setting off, had to get a valet once home to remove the mess but can’t be helped as tree is on a neighbouring property.

In a beautiful spot - although our Sat Nav couldn’t find it. Maybe another sign might have helped once we had left the main road. Lovely warm welcome even though we were early for check in. Enjoyed a superb roast lunch which passed the time.

Don’t want to criticise as I accept we were in an old building, but shower was poor. Lovely fluffy towels though!

I thought the room was lovely and quiet .We used the restaurant for tea and the food was gorgeous. We went for breakfast the next morning and again wonderful 👏

The only peeve was the pillows.I suppose some people would have liked them but I found them a bit flat but the beds themselves were so comfortable.

The shower was not the best for water pressure so took ages to wash long hair. No real storage space for food in the kitchen area unless you popped everything in the fridge
