Very welcoming friendly hosts who couldn't do enough to help. Power shower was fab. Comfortable bed and room was extremely clean with well stocked tea and coffee tray. Tasteful modern decor throughout and the rooms and bathroom are of a very high standard. Very well organised for breakfast which had a huge selection including fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, pastries as well as full English and variations thereof. Ideal location, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, pubs, promenade, Great Orme tram, Cable car to summit, Happy Valley gardens and bus stops. Just perfect, thankyou so much for our lovely stay.

Great hotel as a hub for exploring the island by bus. Lovely clean room. Very helpful staff. Super buffet breakfast. Evening meal has good choices too. We enjoyed our stay here

Our shower could do with an upgrade the triton was struggling but it was sufficient and not worthy of a complaint.

The TV wasn't working, and there was blood stain on the bed sheet, which made us question the cleanliness.

Comfortable and clean. Great breakfast though at extra cost.

Was under the impression from website that room would have a Nespresso machine though it seems these are restricted to deluxe rooms.

The signs on entry "No dogs", "Private Land No Trespassers", nothing welcoming. The dilapidated external appearance of the property. The fact that on entry most doors and windows were ajar despite being cold. The servile nature of the receptionist and demand for payment up-front for 3 nights despite card details having been taken by way of deposit. The long walk up and down stairs and along increasingly cold and damp corridors. The smell. The fact the door card did not work necessitating a return to the reception for a fresh card to be made up. Bedroom window open and radiator stone cold. The sound system serving the bar, lounge and restaurant was so distorted (speakers out of phase or defective cable) it was painful to my ears. In the restaurant they agreed to turn the volume right down but suggested they would have to turn it up again when other guests arrived to provide the right ambiance. The garlic mushrooms contained no evidence of garlic. When I asked for bread to mop up the sauce they provided 2 slices of dry bread. The fish was tiny and the chips were soggy. I dined out the second night. On the third night I decided they could not go wrong with a cheeseburger and chips. They did. So much salt on the burger it was inedible. The duty Manager throughout was not only servile he was downright rude at times. All in all an absolute disaster.
