Room very large and quiet considering it overlooked the road and outside dining' just a problem when our windows were open with smoke drifting up' Breakfast both Continental and English very good and nicely presented and served. Dinner in the restaurant was exceptional all 5 nights we were there we never thought of going out at all every meal was such a very high standard and quality. The Staff particularly Amanda Ruth Carole and Jane cared for us beautifully we felt more like family than just clients. It was our first vist to Northumberland and if we return it would always be to the Victoria. Thank you so very much for everything and for the lovely memories we have brought home with us

Loved everything about our stay at Link House. A lovely property which was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Ideally located for easy access to all areas, with a bus stop right outside to Keswick or Cockermouth for those that don't drive. Hosts Pete and Katie were so welcoming and friendly, and offered suggestions of places of interest to visit and places to eat. The beds are extremely comfortable, and I slept better thank I have in years! The food was delicious and plentiful, and we can't wait to go back.

The room was excellent and we loved the kitchette supplied with dishwasher. All the things needed supplied also, ie tablets. Loved the free milk and bottled water in the fridge. Loved the fact everything was smog super good quality. A coffe machine was also there but we didn’t use it. Didn’t have time to try the gym either. Will definitely stay again.

Amazing location, right at the entrance to Dovedale. Lovely views from our room of Thorpe Cloud Mountain, and the surrounding countryside. The evening meal was excellent quality, and we all enjoyed.

Nice building, very central although we didn’t go out in Belper. The bar and reception were very nice. Our room was in a quiet location so there wasn’t any noise. Ample tea and coffee.

Lack of toiletries and towels, dated room, very warm and small. Toilet door wouldn’t stay closed as lock didn’t work. Dated furniture. No bottles of water and no glasses,(tumblers).

Great location, never saw staff but didn't need to. Email communications were excellent,after one of our party left a shirt they were superb in ensuring it was returned.

Located close to the terminal. Easy to reach via pods. Room clean and bed comfortable. Small but serviceable room.

Great location next to ferry terminal and main bus stop. Good food inc evening meals.

The info in the room said that breakfast was until 9.00 but this had not been updated to reflect the summer times when the latest breakfast was 8.45. After we mentioned this, an updated sheet was put under our door, but it did seem to us that it was a significant oversight to change the hours without changing the info in the rooms.
