Though the checkin is self-completed there were some staff in the shop area (during working hours) to assist with anything if needed. Otherwise the communication before checkin with door codes, etc. was very easy and convenient. The aparto itself was comfortable, clean and quiet. We would recommend this to anyone wanting a nice aparto style accommodation in Porto with nice restaurants close by (for dine-in or takeaway).”

  I didn't have time for breakfast, but had dinner on one night of my stay in the pub which was very nice, warm and welcoming. The bedrooms were excellent - clean and very quiet tucked away behind and very easy and close to the carpark for luggage. The rooms were warm and the feather duvet and pillows so comfortable.

  The Yale lock on the bedroom door wouldn't lock from the inside, but it did feel like a safe place to stay.

  So comfortable, stunning views and all the kitchen equipment we needed for cooking meals during our stay. Really loved the outside area and the garden furniture (for the wee bit of sunshine we got!). Waking up to the scenery didn’t get old! Ideal location for walking to the beach and into town.

  The Hedgehog was a lovely place to stay. We were there for 2 nights. Central for the places we wanted to visit in the area. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. We ate in the restaurant and can recommend the food.

  Undergoing upgrade works to reception and restaurant, wasn’t made aware of this until day before and then it was too late to cancel. The works were under our room and whist we were on the 2nd floor the drilling was still loud at 8.30am !!, the previous guests dirty hand towels were also hanging on coat hangers in the wardrobe!!! We have stayed at this hotel a few times now and it is a good hotel but this time was disappointing
