Friendly staff and an excellent manager. Nothing was too much trouble. Room clean and tidy. Reception and dining room clean. Food was priced fairly and was ample. Breakfast was a winner. Reception manned 24/7 which was good to know. Great views out onto the river. Parking is excellent here.

Near to Ilkley for watching the Ilkley tournament,staff helpful,room decent facilities ,ample plug sockets,11am checkout and late breakfast helpful as I’d been unwell during the night and had to stay in bed till 9 so time to eat and recover

Hotel bit tatty and tired outside , room bit basic and small but fine for the night ,just no headboard on bed which was odd and no shelf in the shower or similar which needs attention as having to keep bending to floor and wasn’t feeling well

Low, frequent humming sound in two rooms I stayed in. Told all rooms have this humming sound. Sounded like an extractor fan was on in another room all the time, or possibly sound of pipes behind the walls.

The room was quite dirty and the bathroom looked like it hasn’t been cleaned properly. The view from the room is why we booked but the window was so dirty it ruined it. The staff were okay a bit short with us. The hotel took a £50 hold which i understand most hotels do this but we only paid £56 for our stay so it was a bit annoying for them to take basically take the price of the hotel again. We then didn’t get this money back until a week later which i imagine isn’t the hotels fault but just something to be aware of.

Highchair provided was mouldy, the second one provided also wasn't clean. Kitchen needed cleaning before using, ie fridge, plates, glasses etc before use. Dishwasher didn't work. Bathrooms could've been cleaner. Double bed extremely uncomfortable, had a spring digging in my hip every night and still feels bruised. Really creaky floorboards in bathroom and bedroom so impossible to go to the bathroom in night without disturbing each other.
