  Quality of food and refreshments provided. Access to refreshments at any time. Attentive host. I was a solo traveller and booked a room with a shared bathroom. I had no issue with this; bathroom was spotless and remained so during my two day stay.

  Very friendly staff . Room was perfect for a one night stay before heading to Bristol airport . Enjoyed a pub meal and a few drinks in a traditional pub rather than opting for big chain at the airport .

  WiFi was fine in the bar but we could not use the WiFi in the room despite trying numerous times . We were in room 5 downstairs and unfortunately the person in the room above was walking around constantly from 2:00am for over an hour and with a very squeaky floor/ ceiling , sleep with difficult . Best option would be one of the 3 upstairs rooms 1-3 .

  I accidentally booked an accessible room rather than a normal one so this was not a great start. The bathroom smelt of urine, maybe stale urine. The room smelt stale. Remote control was not working, when I called reception was asked to come to reception to get batteries. I would have thought they would come and help.
