Totally agree with what all the other reviews said, ie photos don’t do the actual apartment justice! Everything was perfect. The apartment was well equipped and it was spotless, cleaner than my own apartment! Shona was the most friendly host. We had so much fun chatting and sharing stories. The pantry was well stocked, from dried goods to fruits, cheese, milk, juices, beers! The bed was very comfortable. Hot water and heating were super efficient as well. In short, the best short term stay we experienced yet!

It's a shame because the property is actually quite nice and in a great location. It's great to be able to get a self contained apartment for a reasonable price however my stay was ruined by the host.

I been driving for four hours for work when I arrived at the property excited to have somewhere to be able to cook at such a reasonable price & not have to have a takeaway. Upon checking into my room at 8pm it was apparent that there was no electricity in the room. I found a fuse box which was all good & an electricity meter seemed to confirm that despite on emergency credit there should be some power. I called the host, & called them, & called them. It was over two hours sitting in a room that gradually became pitch black with my food not in a working fridge or able to be cooked & on the phone to booking.com who confirmed they also couldn't contact the host before I finally heard back & was moved to a new room just after 10. This room was lovely but the panic of being in dark for 2 hours in an unfamiliar place miles from home not knowing if I would be spending the night hungry in the dark had made me feel so anxious and scared. I kept leaving off booking somewhere new thinking surely the host will get back soon but then it was getting to the stage when I realised I probably wouldn't be able to book somewhere at this time. It was at this time in the dark that I realised that my room didn't even have any toilet paper. I am thankful after 2 hours to have been moved to a new room but the hasty apology & refusal to speak to me on the phone felt like awful customer service. I contacted the host the next day when things had calmed down to discuss the situation & never got a reply again by text or message through the booking.com app despite still being in the property another night. I have been travelling for work for the last 9 years and have never felt so scared and anxious as that night and it took another three days of ringing booking.com to get the host to agree to a partial refund (they kept just saying they got no answer or an email reply saying "issue resolved", the cheek).

We were a family group visiting for a family funeral. The staff were beyond kind. Debbie was extremely helpful and looked after us all with kindness and support.

The boat house had no coffee. The tables were sticky. But the staff were lovely.

Free parking, relative closer to town, shared kitchen to use, building look quite new, everything new, a shop just on ground floor on the hotel.

On shower nothing to slide so you dont splash water on the floor so i used an towel😬, no toilet brush to clean, a bit noisy even with window closed because of paintball just on back of the hotel.

Bathroom smelled damp. Visible damp coming through the wall to the bedroom. Only one lamp and really bad mattresses. One stuck metal in me so I moved to the other. Mattresses need replacing.
