The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

A decent and honest hotel that is more than the sum of its parts. Good value and good food. It’s not a luxury hotel, but is very clean, with pleasant staff in a lovely location, we enjoyed our short stay very much and would definately go again

Nothing much usb charging power points would be nice, but not an issue.

Its location is great straight off the A1 and right next to the Angel of the North. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, helping us to get served dinner despite being back from work late.

I couldn’t turn the radiator off in the bathroom.

Very friendly staff. Char was brilliant as she picked us up from a wedding when we couldnt get a taxi. Dominiques pictures in the pub are brilliant even the naughty one in the corner lol.
