Was a fantastic hotel, upon booking i requested if they could do something special for our 10th Anniversary and they exceeded my expectations with the best upgrade ever. The suite we were given was amazing and a complementary bottle of wine really sealed the deal. The May Fair Hotel I would recommend to anyone and the service from the staff was exceptional.

Not to sound corny or anything but there really wasn't anything negative about our stay Breakfast was a little busy and the table we sat on was a bit cramped but that really isn't a negative as they could only utilise the space and areas that were free at the time and we did go during the peak hours as well.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Local and friendly environment with good food and service and ample parking. Ideally located to the Goodwood Motor Circuit and a 10 minute walk to a Tesco for last minute items.

Our room had a very strong smell of damp, but we were only there for the night so it was tolerable. Coffee and tea facilities were in the room but no milk. Only realised when we were rushing out early in the morning.

a simple help yourself breakfast - everything i needed. The room was large and surprising quiet, with being so close to the road. There was a good supply of towels and soaps in the bathroom

Location was very convenient for travelling to other villages. Loved sitting in the back garden, very relaxing. Neighbour was friendly and had a nice chat with her.

Shower floor was slippy for the elderly. Some of the flooring was not done to a very good standard. Cooking utensils were missing and some of the pots had seen better days. \

I frequently stay in Forest, when travelling to Fence. Always a pleasure! Great, quiet location, friendly staff and great food. One couldn't wish for more!

Nothing- I was genuinely surprised by the quality of the accommodation. There is traffic and crowd noise outside due to its location but I felt that added to the ambience!
