The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The room was small but cozy with all the necessities. It was always kept clean, and it was a very quiet place, I slept very well. The surroundings were very nice and peaceful, the owners were friendly and welcoming.
Negative section of review
The room tended to get very warm during the day with the window closed even though it was not particularly sunny. This was not an issue yet, but it might become one in summer for people who don't sleep well in warm in environments.

The apartment is closer to the city centre and Victoria square. It’s a 15 minute walk from new street station. The apartment looks exactly how it is shown in the pictures but there has been some maintenance issues.
Negative section of review
The host needs to educate the maintenance guy to knock the door and not blaze inside the main door using the other set of keys kept in the lockbox. For this incident I will give a one star. There were issues of leakages in the apartment above us and to diagnose that, the maintenance guy started his work in our apartment. The Netflix account is used by many users so if you’re in luck then you can use Netflix or else look outside the window to pass time 😞. There was a day where there water was cut from 9am-3pm and it was harrowing to control your bowel for these so many hours. That was the day I was questioning my decision of staying in this apartment. The help desk of Haus Birmingham was helpful whenever required. They have all necessary equipment for this apartment. I seriously think the rental price needs to be reduced.
Positive section of review
Well situated in Alnwick but very difficult to access, the reception is closed and building locked until the bar opens, the car park is ample but the access is incredibly tight to navigate .
Negative section of review
The fact it is unmanned and locked at night. The fire escape ( only point of entry/exit for residents out of hours)is very difficult to manage. No lift Room small with no windows, a slightly open, out of reach, skylight was only natural light It must surely be frightening if there is a fire, unbearable in hot weather. No breakfast is offered by the hotel

Loved the views from the front balcony and sunrise, then at sunset the decking is just perfect. All facilities catered for and the decor is beautiful

Would benefit from a full length mirror either in the main top bedroom or the top landing - the downstairs bathroom would benefit from a refurb

Very friendly and lovely countryside around.

The food was very tasty, but the prices were very high. I spent over £30 on fish pie and peas (tasty but not enormous), a soft drink, and a small bowl of nuts. I had been warned that the food was pricey but the chef put it all together after he'd finished service so I didn't ask for the price beforehand. So, just check prices before, but a lovely place to eat.
