We fell in love with this amazing and quirky place, we were looking for a quiet place to stay to recharge the batteries that was different from the norm, this place ticked all the boxes, we loved our stay. We received a very warm welcome as we arrived from Sue. Uncle David’s wagon was amazing, first built in 1904, the accommodation has every thing you will need, really nice seating area overlooking an amazing view, with sheep running around next to the wagon. We would highly recommend the place.

Food was excellent and the beer garden is lovely. The location is excellent and the staff were very friendly except the Saturday morning breakfast waitress who obviously didn’t want to be there. I have to add that I know times have been tough for hospitality over the last few years

Room was a bit tired and not very clean and being charged £15 a night for the dog cleaning fee was a bit much as the room wasn’t cleaned on the Saturday.

The room was very warm. The bed had a thick duvet on it. We did remove these from the duvet covers to be able to sleep comfortably.

Stairs to the apartment were small and narrow. Heavy suitcases are not recommended.
