Hard to gain entry and get hold of staff- phone not answered. No soap or other toiletries, although hotel description said these were provided. Window handle was broken. Very noisy from traffic.

There was an issue with the voucher we were given for a drink because we chose not to have our room cleaned. We were given two vouchers for each date. I must have handed the voucher with the wrong date in on the first night but it was accepted. However on the second night she would not accept. I explained that I should have been pulled up on first night that the date was wrong. However because it was accepted that left me with another voucher which had wrong date. A little annoying as it was a mistake on hotels part.

We got FROZEN food at the restaurant after waiting for 45 minutes when there were only a few other people in there. The lamb was an actual frozen clump, sized like a tennis ball. The green curry was just warm enough but obviously from frozen state as well! The pizzas are also cooked from frozen. We were compensated for the frozen food and a little bit extra, although most of us lost our appetite and didn't eat much. The bill was 120 pounds and we got 50 refunded. We also were served rose wine instead of white wine, and didn't get a new one even after complaining about it. There were also loud construction noises in the building next door, since they were building a new hotel next to this one, so we woke up at 7:30 the mornings we left the window open.
