The location was excellent, only a 15 minute bus ride from centre and bus stops right outside hotel which is ideal after long travels , Room was really spacious and shower room was fab with self heating towel rails and immaculate clean😍well done to house keeping. The house keeping lady we met both Mornings was so nice and welcoming and very obliging to our needs :)Stunning park down the road about a 10 minute walk, really fabulous and scenic with a play ground and fun for kids. There’s everything you need in the area, shops etc so you wouldn’t need to leave unless you wanted to do some retail shopping in the centre:)

They don’t do fries which I thought was odd as it’s a family hotel and kids can be fussy but it was ok because there was kfc and other take always across the road and they let our daughter bring her food in as they were aware she wanted fries and the manager was very nice , he gave me a refund on the food my daughter wouldn’t eat . He was very nice and welcoming , all the staff was really nice, I can’t really say anything bad at all other than the above which is very minor

Absolutely loved the cottage. would go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the ocean and seagulls which was wonderfully calming. Never slept as soundly as i did here.

Not a fault of the hosts, i just wished i had thought about the locastion and taken a taxi up the hill instead of walking up the 199 steps with heavy luggage despite knowing my own limits. It's my fault and honestly i should have been using my brain.

The bed was what was expected and high quality. The bathroom is acceptable. I only stayed here as I had a foot injury requiring corrective surgery.

The food was extortionately priced, and very poor. I requested a medium rare steak and most of it was rare and stringy. the brandy I had with my meal tasted watered down. The staff were too busy to listen, I asked what draught lagers were and was told you do Perronnii, I said ok and got a tiny bottle. My wife's meal was worse apart from the mac & cheese, tiny roasted vegetables for £7.50 Breakfast, mushrooms inedible, eggs cold, sausages good, bacon fair, and cheap baked beans. I left a tip only to find a service charge was applied. No site of bill. One of the questions is paid for wi-fi, it's like this with everything.

Bed was VERY uncomfortable - old and not supportive. Pillows not good. Settee was a joke - barely off the floor! There was a real hassle with parking, which was a long way away and confusing to organise. Shower head was broken

We books two rooms. The manager put us at one of the rooms at the basement next to the chemicals storage room. The smell was bad, especially not healthy for kids. The rubbish bin in one of the rooms is faulty. The cleanliness of the rooms are minimum.
