Positive section of review
First impressions were good, a beautiful well kept building directly opposite the sea. We were met by David who was friendly and welcoming. Once inside we could see the whole house had been decorated and furnished to such a high standard and everywhere is meticulously clean. We had a really wonderful stay in the teal room and it was within easy walking distance of some fab restaurants, little independent shops and the harbour and beach. We were lucky that the weather was warm and sunny so it felt like a mini-break but without having to go abroad - perfect !!.

Lovely and spacious, loads of parking space, a huge kitchen and lounge for socialising. The rooms were comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Would definitely book again.

Hitel very impressive from outside. Upon arrival, no wi-fi , lift out of order making job of getting bags to room tricky.

Was quite scary with vandlised lifts. Very difficult to get to the apartment on 5th floor.

Very dirty corridors, damaged lifts. Balcony door couldn't lock. Thank God it was just one night. They demand deposit after booking, and cancellation fee charged if you try to cancel on booking.com Over a month now and no deposit has been reimbursed. Very unhelpful staff when chasing for deposit.

The place was clean and the bed comfy. These are the only good things I have to say.

It was too fiddly to gain entry, especially with bags as there is no reception. En-suite, too small you could sit on the toilet and wash your hands at the same time. Shower cubicle small and nowhere to hang towels, either wet or dry. I couldn't close the curtains properly as they were hanging off the runners. I paid for a parking permit but it was so scratched and damaged I still got a parking ticket as the warden couldn't tell which scratch was for my stay. No-one available at the property to ask for advice as once again thee is no reception!!

Originally was given a room with windows that didn’t open and broken air conditioning. Was moved to a family room so a bit more space but carpet was wet because there had been some kind of leak (ceiling looked like it had taken a battering) and everything else was a bit dated.
