from the girl that checked us in to every other member of staff they were all just excellent so very polite and nothing was a problem, the dinners we had on both nights in the restaurant were excellent , very tasty and good size of portions , the lunch we had in the Cocktail bar was the same , the breakfast was exceptional and so many choices for a buffet breakfast and all the food was piping hot which is very unusual for a buffet breakfast. when we had no long got into our room we got given a Scottish welcome basket which was full of tasty goodies and we thought that this was a very nice touch from the hotel.

A really beautiful place to stay with lovely views looking out to Skye. The accommodation is superb, it’s more like a little holiday cottage than a B&B. It’s very modern, clean and comfy, and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. The continental style breakfast which was left in the room was really lovely. Would definitely stay here again when returning to this part of Scotland. Highly recommended.

BEDBUGS AND INCOMPETENT CUSTOMER SERVICE On the 24/04, in London for work, I had the worst night of my life in the Riu plaza Victoria London. I went to bed and had been awakened by several bedbugs running in my bed. It was horrifying. (see pictures) I tried to chase them and decided to call the reception around 3am. The only answer i got was 'don' t forget to take pictures' and 'we are fully booked'. They did not want to change my room, my sheets, disinfect or find any solutions. Impossible to talk to a manager either. I had to stay in my room the rest of the night, patiently waiting and thus not sleeping. £306 is expensive to chill out with bedbugs, don't you think? The reception only got me a piece of paper to email the complaint services. No excuses. No refund. No compensation. How long have the bedbugs been here? Did they rebooked my room on the day after ? We will never know as nobody really took my complaint into account. Not avoiding the risk of the bedbugs going into my belongings. You know what kind of plague that can be. Bedbugs, okay, that can happen. However the customer service was inexistent, disrespectful and certainly not meeting a 4* hotel as Riu Plaza. I am still waiting for the complaint service to come back to me. In brief, to avoid. Breakfast was great though.
