  Exceptionally clean and very good breakfast... Great if you are visiting the cathedral or singing with a visiting choir as it's situated in the Cathedral Close, and parking is available... It is functional but staff were very friendly and helpful.

  The room was perfect for a short stay in Hastings located on the seafront in-between the pier and the old town, a short walk in either direction. We had a sea view. There is an underground car park opposite which was very convenient.
- Negative section of review
  
  Unfortunately the water was cut off in most of Hastings due to a burst water pipe. The lodge kindly phoned us to explain the situation just in case we hadn't seen the news and we decided to come anyway. There was ample bottled water available.

  The location is convenient for movement around Southampton. A hyper market within walking distance for any travel items or snacks. It has a pub and grill for meals if you don’t feel like going out

  The rooms are a bit small if you have big suit cases it might be a tight fit. Noise from the gym if you get a room on 2nd floor
