Great location for an early flight from Terminal 5. Friendly staff in the restaurant with reasonable food and a great balcony to have a drink and spot some planes. Good value for money for such a convenient airport location. Hospitality tray in rooms for that early morning cuppa. Access to the T5 pods for a quick transfer is a bonus for an extra charge of £8 per person.

Rooms are a little worn and dated, but beds are comfortable, the bathroom a little worn out and grubby looking but it was actually clean and functional. There was a problem with the access code to the pods in the morning and the staff took a while to answer the help button which caused a slight delay but overall nothing that wouldn't stop me booking again

All previous review problems still exist, nothing has been ammended old food in cupboards, viable but by all accounts never cleaned out ,yea stained mugs ,dirty cutlery an drawers , all doors an cupboards an door/cupboard knobs glass windows etc dirty with greasy finger prints food an stains .toilet floor must be soaked in urine then covered with new floor, as smells awful but it’s ok they put two air fresheners in there ..main door or lock doesn’t work, but key or to shut .water pours from shower head the wrong way day an night so cold showers only with a hint of warm occasionally ,heating doesn’t work,heating instructions are not for that boiler, food in kettle on arrival, crumbs on toaster, bin lid an table had food an stains on, half a bag of nuts behind sofa cushion I am severely allergic qn only due to starting to react did I hunt out the reason! Bed mattress cover smelt of sweat along with the two pillows in main room,no one has been down the window side of the bed to clean for years by all accounts dust an cobwebs under shelf about beside table an skirting an it’s not just been missed once or came over night! The area is over crowded any window you look out of is caravans, they so squashed in I’m sure if you reached out the window you could touch your neighbours hand, can’t park on grass to save grass,so even with spinal problems I parked car in reception out of respect for grass, it’s not the grass it’s so everyone else can drive past over an over again inches from the door,Thays not gunna save the grass is it? There was sweet wrappers an rubbish under the single beds, I like to peep even in rooms I’m not using as really like things clean! As for the stereo an remote control for tv they are breeding their own strand penicillin,how hard is it to wipe a remote, wasn’t gunna touch that, dirty fingerprints on plugs switches that I went to use an the light switch in kitchen again had food finger prints on!
