Gorgeous hotel with great interior ,bedroom was gorgeous with great character, pub adjoining to it was lovely and the bar man couldn't have been any more helpful & nicer, looked after us really well , nice continental breakfast too in morning

I could not fault the hotel apart from I had an early arrival after being on go since 3 30 from Scotland in morning , hoped to have got into my room for around 1 /2 pm especially when I had an event at 4pm didn't get into room till just before 3pm , did message previous to enquire to get in a bit earlier but sadly to no avail. Still gave 5 🌟 because it was very clean and loved the character about it

The breakfast was exceptional, it was your very own buffet delivery, everything you wanted and more 😊 even our little dog got a special treat 🐶 We went to The Gate Keeper pub for tea which was recommended and the food was first class 👍

The rooms are in a separate building, away from the noise of the pub. The rooms are clean and efficient. We had two separate beds which is fine for a change. The food in the pub is excellent. There is sufficient parking space available.

Room floor space is limited so you struggle with your bags or suitcase on the floor. This hotel is in fact a pub with rooms; not adequate for staying longer than 2 nights.

Location is excellent for amenities,restaurants, pubs etc.... Property clean,tidy and modern. Bedrooms are good.

Could not connect to WiFi,multiple comments in guest book should prompt fix. TV remote missing. Bathroom and shower is very small. Pub outside area next door can be noisy. Had to phone to get code for key,as this was changed without us being made aware. Getting out of carpark was a hassle.

Nothing in particular. Having said that, I've tried to book to stay here again for 12th/13th April 2025 and the price has leaped from @£86 to £117. To stay in September of 2024 it is a whopping and unfathomable £136.
