My third time at the coastal resort and every time the caravans are first class, clean, and extremely comfy. The location is amazing, and the staff on site are always extremely helpful. 👌🏻

Convenient access (keypad / code and key in secure keybox) hence no need to be there at a specific / agreed time. Not much else.

Appt is sterile, not at all charming or homely. The few fixtures are cheap and tacky. Some broken and loose fittings take the shine of what could otherwise be a pleasant stay. The appt is on the first floor and access is via some steep stairs (no lift). That was OK for one night but my elderly mother could not have managed more! Had that been in the description I probably wouldn't have booked it. I would not say this appt has stunning views. It is in the bottom of the valley in a nice wooded area, very calm and only 5 mins from the center of Holmfirth but stunning views ? Not really.

A choleric, overwhelmed manager insulted us loudly in the lobby after we had asked at the reception how we (including three 80+ year olds) were supposed to get our luggage to the fourth floor without a lift. We were made fun of us by asking whether we would want him (the "manager") to carry up our suitcase. His response actually made the whole situation even worse. The condition of the non-renovated rooms is horrendous as you are greeted by a damp and stale smell and we woke up with a headache despite sleeping with the window open. The "renovated“ ones should undergo another renovation as they are still not worth the money. At the buffet the staff did not refill the bread after already asking 4 times over a period of 15 minutes because it was still frozen even when there were still 45 minutes of the breakfast time left. The few staff in the breakfast room were almost running in and out of the room even though the room was only 1/4 full. The manager from the previous day walked around with a frown so big that we all felt very uncomfortable. I strongly advise anyone to stay away from this place.
