Me and my Mum came for a restful break and that's exactly what we had. The hotel was lovely and cosy and perfectly placed from the train station as that is how we arrived. It was a 30second walk not 2mins as we saw advertised. The walking pack provided was brilliant and we did follow one of the walks through beautiful scenery. The food was sooo good, rather than go out for a meal on the second night we again ate in the hotel and it was good value for money.

On the first day of our stay, the shower water was scolding hot in where we could not use it but instead used the bath as it had the cold water. It was so hot that the steam caused the alarms to go off! Then we noticed on the second day that we had no water at all and when reported we were informed that maintenance was taking place in a communal toilet. This did not affect us too much as we went out for a walk and on return the water was back on. The hotel is in a quiet location with not much around (which was exactly what we wanted) but might not suit others. Malvern centre is only 5mins away on the train though.

I rented this for my parents who were visiting Edinburgh. They absolutely loved the property. It's a well maintained and clean period building conveniently located for access into the city centre while being quiet enough to catch a good snooze. My parents said the bed was incredibly comfortable and they loved the shutters on the living room windows.

The location of this place is superb, I dont know about parking as I used Uber to move around. Staff was very kind and we enjoyed the breakfast. Early check-in and late checkout was quick and easy. Reception was very welcoming.

Ahh property is fairly old and the room I got has a strange inclination. Its like living on a slope.

My room was upgraded to a 4 poster suite which was large and comfortable. The room was in great condition and impeccably clean. The value for money was excellent.

All I can think of which has nothing to do with the hotel in itself is there’s a lot of construction work going on out side in to the night so it can be loud, but all you really need is some ear plugs.

The toilet was not affixed to the floor twice close to a serious accident and the bathroom had brick dust in one area and was not 100% clean in other areas also the residents above had a young child constantly thumping across the floor, also two steps in the hallway were camouflaged by the flooring
