The food in the restaurant was amazing, the glamping pods were very comfortable, the staff went out of their way to show us around and make sure we were happy. We brought our little dog, and they offered to look after him while we used the sauna and hot tub. The owner invited us to look at the stars through his telescope and was happy to talk to us at length.”

We used the washing facility all our clothes came back clean ironed & folded smelling fabulous So look no further Beautiful place Beautiful people Thanks and look forward to coming back soon”

      Ideally situated small barn. It was very clean and comfortable with everything provided, suitable for our stay. Very welcoming host Great location for spending time in Bourton on the Water, as well as exploring the Cotswolds further. We visited NT properties, Hidcote and Snowshill Manor. Cotswold Falconry Centre amazing, with excellent restaurant and garden centre. Also heritage railway and Broadway.

      Just to be aware Bourton is extremely busy. We visited first thing in the morning and in the evening, si no problems

      Overall a good location, well appointed. A few observations that need to be corrected. Overall staff helpful but the hotel seems to be under staffed.

      There were a few issues: - Room service menu via TV very difficult to find not intuitive, and even too staff some time to find. system needs updating. - No back-up room service menu in rooms - no response from phone lines (room service, reception, general) - I had to go to reception, which was not staffed, then search the kitchen for staff to help. In general there are staffing issues at the hotel. The staff in place were very helpful and professional but the hotel is under staffed. Taxi booking service - unable to locate any Heathrow locations in the system (even with staff help) i.e. car rental locations.

      Great location, food in the restaurant was very good, the grounds are lovely to relax in. All the staff were friendly.

      Our room didn’t really meet our expectations. The aircon was not powerful enough / working properly - after leaving it set to 18C all day, it was still 24C at night, which made it very uncomfortable for us and our baby to sleep. The TV was very small and difficult to watch from bed. There were no plug sockets by the bed. Additionally there were not enough staff at dinner on the Friday evening, as they were busy with a couple of big groups, we were pretty much abandoned after our main course - would have ordered dessert and coffee if we’d been asked.

      Easy access to town / beach. Bed was comfy. Shower was nice and hot when it warmed up

      Breakfast was limited, stated on menu wouldn’t go gluten/ lactose free or vegan / vegetarian. Only one small thin towel provided. Shower took a long time to warm up and very small cubicle, I couldn’t shower without flooding the floor and no ‘bath’ mat to step out onto

      The hotel itself was a lovely place to stay. The breakfast included was lovely.

      Although the staff were very helpful on checking out the staff member did not say thank you for your stay she just took the cards. Other than that no complaints. Although I would recommend a small fridge for drinks to be kept in inside the room

      The noise in the rooms was awful. Banging of doors and very poorly insulated. The breakfast was amongst the worst I have ever had in a hotel. I came down at 9:15 and the place was like a bombsite. All the 'hot' food was cold, no one on the omelette counter, milk everywhere, no fresh bread at all and machine coffee.
