This was the second time that we have stayed at Skye Cabins, and it was just as amazing as we remembered! We made very good use of the hot tub again (our favourite part), although it was a bit of a struggle to get it lit from cold this time. William offered us some helpful tips when bringing us some more firewood - you are given enough to last the length of your stay, but we were a little bit wood-happy when trying to get it to heat up the first time! The surrounding scenery was as beautiful as always, and the cabin was pretty much central to everywhere we wanted to take a drive to in Skye as we did a lot more exploring this time. Skye Cabins certainly did not disappoint, and we've already booked our next stay!

Best location to approach British Museium and sightseeing places with short bus or underground trips. Also very close to convenient shop. Finally, the number push door lock is convenient as well.

We've stayed at this hotel before we both like the reception area and the greeting from the staff on arrival. The hotel is quite big and there is lots going on. Check-in was easy and quick.

I know that this is an old hotel but the cleaning and dusting was not great in some areas of the hotel and esspecially in our bedroom. It took ages for the hot water to heat up to have a shower and there was no signage in the bathroom to explain this and that we couldn't get the shower to work and had to call for help with this. The manager explained to us that the boiler was over the other side of the hotel that's why we have to run the tap for ages and show us how to switch on the shower! I explained to him that there should have been some sort of a sign explaining all of these issues and he absolutely agreed that there should be a sign.

Clean, comfortable and excellent breakfast. Hosts, Jim & Diana were very welcoming. The rooms were clean and location not far from town centre

Nothing that we didn't like other than the steep staircase up to the bedrooms and for seniors 70 and above, this can be challenging especially carting up their luggage.

Tidy, clean, smart and all you needed. Staff were fantastic too and the shuttle bus to the airport saved money rather than taxi.

The mattress was to soft. You could not have pizza in the restaurant just at the bar. So if one like to have steak and one would like pizza then you have to eat the steak at the bar tables. There you do not have proper seat at the table.
