We had a lovely 2 nights here. Hot tub was lovely, beds were very comfy. WiFi and smart TV are great. Everything very clean. Great location near the park and little pub. Any questions I had were replied to straight away. Thanks alot. Hope to return again

Only thing that wasn't there what I needed was a mirror near a plug. Only mirror was in the bathroom and I couldn't do my hair with straighteners. I had to go out to the zoo with messy hair 🤣.

Excellent location on the banks of Lake Windermere with loving views from the dining room and lounge areas. Close to a good selection of bars and cafes and walking distance to the jetty for boat trips.

Hotel is looking very tired and dated. Car park requires use of a key fob which you don’t keep for the duration of your stay but have to hand back.

Beautiful location. Easy to find. Very quiet. Lovely rooms with tea/coffee & cake on arrival. Delicious breakfast. Comfy bed.

Personal preference but the bathroom door was made of glass which felt weird! A couple ignored the polite notice & brought their dogs into the dining area during breakfast service!

On arrival the woman that gave us our room keys said that breakfast was between 7.30am to 9am. She said it was her 1st day on the job...The next morning we came down for breakfast just after 8am to find there was NO staff on site and NO other customers, we seemed to be the only one's in the hotel, we were calling out for any members of staff, but there was NO ONE else we were on our own.. At 8.40am a groundsman came into the hotel on hearing us saying hello is anybody there?? He then said the staff don't start coming in till around 8.30am.. The groundsman sorted some breakfast of sorts for us, cereal&milk, tea, bread to make toast, gave us butter pats & jam portions ,mini cake muffin... we ate breakfast and checked out.. we will not be returning anytime soon....

We were told to park on the services close to the hotel and register our number plate. However when we got home we had a £100 parking fee! We rang the hotel and they sorted it out but was quite a shock .

Initially given a room too far from reception but when we said it was too far too wlak we were given a much nearer room.
