The staff contacted me to double check my booking. I had asked if a breakfast bag could be made as we were leaving early. They were more than accommodating. A nearby hotel was offering a room with two single beds for a little cheaper but knowing the quality of service and the fact we could have double beds at this property, it is more than worth it.

The property was clean and well presented, close to the town centre and easy to find. It contains most household appliance’s needed for a short stay away. The beds were comfortable and there was WiFi available within this property.

The stairs to the bedrooms were very steep and narrow so may be a problem for people who are less able bodied

Bed very uncomfortable -.just sink/roll in to the middle. we couldnt sleep together...ended up sleepimg on sofa Although a 15 min walk in to town - there were no local facilities nearby for breakfast

There were problems of access and parking after a long drive, even though I arrived within one hour of check in start time. Had to park both days/nights in nearby public car park at 2 x £13 - more expensive than hotel parking charge.

If I was being picky, the mattress on the bed was a bit soft, but may suit some people. We have just always preferred a firm mattress.

The food .pizzas and tikka curry very very very poor, did complain but nothing dealt with. Pizza was like a cheap shop brought (cardboard). And the chicken in the curry was inedible . Stay safe and have burger or fish chips.
