My original booking was cancelled and I only found out when I arrived there. The property I stayed at was extremely welcoming considering how late I arrived. They were extremely helpful and provided food for supper and breakfast and that was not in the booking.

The place was great as a little home away from home. Had more than we expected in terms of facilities. Was lovely and clean and well presented. Excellent location in the centre of Brighton with plenty of transport links near by and a stunning view.

The only gripe we had was the noise from the street on the first night, but this was a weekend of people going out. That was the only thing and nothing the hosts can do about that.

Good location. Car parking a big bonus, space was small, but we never moved it over the weekend so it was helpful. Good communication with Host & Stay with all instructions clear for us. Bed/sofa comfortable

Very basic facilities, we were there for the weekend, mirrors were smeared, dust on some things, toiletries were shampoo only. No kitchen roll, box hankies etc, not available. There were 3 teabags only, three sachets of milk and about an inch of washing up liquid in the bottle. Kettle still had old water in it, as well as just looking dirty as there was so much limescale on the bottom. Toaster looked unclean, crumbs around the top and was rusted on the top, I think for the price point maybe more basic items could be available in the two bedroom apartment. I also think the kitchen equipment needs updated. We left the apartment clean and tidy and disposed of rubbish in the bin store as requested, but again no rubbish bags available anywhere in the apartment for us to refill the kitchen bin.

There is an extensive range of options for breakfast. I needed to asked about Decaf tea/coffee - which were there but not obvious. The warm dishes could so with being a hotter. Overall a good breakfast.

Bare concrete walls and ceilings mix with bold colour schemes. I'd have prefered the ceiling of my room to be painted rather then left as bare concrete.

The breakfast which is im Mollie's Diner across from the excellent accommodation is great, I had the French Toast with blueberries and yoghurt, the coffee was delicious and the service fast and friendly.

The only thing that could have been better for me is the air conditioning - it's minimum setting is 19C which is heating in the North not actually cooling. Fortunately,I bought my mini fan and slept under the duvet cover only.

Upon check in, I was given a room for which the previous occupant had had their stay extended. I found this out after carting my luggage up stairs and far away from the check in desk, to find someone else's belongings in the room and a note saying their stay was extended. It was fixed fairly quickly when I went back to the desk but it left me feeling unsafe that someone else would get the key to my room. No lift in the property either so accessibility isn't great. Cleanliness also left a lot to be desired - stained carpets, bath tub didn't look like it had been cleaned properly. And the mattresses was so uncomfortable.
