Lovely big, light, and airy room. Clean and well presented. Good selection of tea / coffee in room, also bottled water and very nice buscuits. Bed was firm (too firm for my husband). Very well soundproofed, could barely hear anything from ourside the room. The Tower fan was a god send as room was on the ground floor, and I didn't want to leave the window open wide. Room service was available and reasonably priced. Toiletries were provided, we only used the soap though. Staff were very friendly and happy to help. Good choice for breakfast. Brilliant position for BIC or the Pavillion. Right by the beach too.

staff brilliant, food very good, price very reasonable. This is a difficult situation for owners as space is at a real premium in Windermere district so they have done almost all they could. If an extra single bed hadn't been squeezed into the room there would have been much nicer feeling in the room. I understand the extra need, maybe a collapsible bed that only took up much less space would 'do the trick'

Room very tiny, en-suite very tiny, no hook to hang a towel, (that is an easy fix) Using washbasin to clean teeth you have to be careful not to bash head on very low glass shelf.

Location is really good for town centre And close to the station which was perfect for me. The lady on checking was really lovely and they were able to let me check in early which was great. Room was clean and comfortable so perfect for a one night stay

Not much, I opted for a windowless room which can feel a little claustrophobic but that was my choice!

It’s a super location for central Newcastle, the rooms are comfortable and very clean. The staff were so very helpful including the lovely team on reception & the Argentine gentleman overseeing the breakfast service.

Great location in central Richmond and my room had a river view. Lovely comfortable room with a handy kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. The bed was comfortable and the shower good

I was on the 3rd floor, the stairs are steep and there is no liift.

I liked that fact that the room was on the ground floor as my mum was elderly and avoided the stairs. However, I did see a stair lift. The restaurant and bar were in the same building. It was quiet.

Beautiful location - peaceful and private. Really nice to have the outdoor space and to wake up to the birds singing. Plus a very, very, comfortable bed.

A few coathangers would be nice. The WiFi signal is very weak, not unexpected given the location, so didn't try to use any of the Smart TV channels

The first room I was put in was disgusting had a weird smell when opened the door there was loads of clumps of dog hair on the floor no way it had been hoovered the dog hair was on the bed also no note that dogs were allowed in certain rooms when I booked it , eyes were streaming and skin blotchy as I’m allergic to long hair longs very disappointed however when I went down and spoke to staff they were not happy and moved me straight away to another room , however that room was cleaner still wasn’t satisfactory considering a cleanliness policy they have , a stained towel didn’t look like had been changed 🤢☹️also when ever someone used water there was a mad gurgling loud noice from bathroom very disappointed as it wasn’t the cheapest of rooms windows all finger prints and hand prints think the rooms could do with a very very good clean

I won’t recommend staying here during summer time. The air-cond in every room is not even air-conditioning. They just blow warm/hot air only. Even the thermostat being adjusted to the lowest degrees, warm air still blowing. The window can’t open wide due to health & safety & there are less cool air coming into the room, making all the rooms (8 rooms) we booked pretty humid. Not an ideal stay during hot weather for sure.
