Positive section of review
Near bus station (3 lines) and 5 walk minutes to DLR station. 10 minutes to subway station. This means between 30 to 50 minutes to almost any important London location. (1h and 15 minutes from airport by Elisabeth Line and DLR - about 14 pounds/person). Useful small shops and small restaurants/taverns/café within walking distance. The apartment was very clean and it has every essential device for comfortable living and eating during a week holiday. 24/24 reception One towel/sheets changing at the middle of the week - more than enough for our taste. Who wants daily services maybe should choose a hotel room.

In order to be excellent it has to have a gorgeous view. Here you are in a decent neighbourhood with normal apartments buildings around. Nothing wrong but neither spectacular.

Westcot is located in the centre of Callander with private parking and easy access. The rooms are excellent and spacious with everything provided. The breakfast hamper is just amazing, with a wonderful choice of fruits, compot, pastries, breads and savories, "all home made", that really set you up for the day. Stephany, the host, is extremally welcoming and will provide all the information and advice you need about the local area.

* lowest price for Lincoln on booking.com. Good for those who only want to pay the absolute minimum. * quiet location, with no traffic noise

*the television in the room is not connected to any antennae on the roof, so it is useless. There were two complicated WiFi codes written on paper stuck on the mirror, but I did not bother to try and use it, as it was too difficult to enter anything into the television, as only a remote was provided. WiFi code supplied was probably intended for your own Ipad etc. *the stairs are so steep it is illegal to use these in any commercial business. They fail building regulations. *the toilet and bathroom are downstairs, so if you have to rush downstairs in the night, you can break your neck on the stairs, as they are so steep * there are no staff at all living here. The house is divided into 4 rooms for guests only, with no owner present. Entry is via a black box, next to the outside door. No information was provided beforehand as to how to open these black boxes, so guests need to know beforehand if they have never used these. You need to pull the box down, then enter a code, then try and pull the whole thing out to find the key behind. *I brought my own vegan milk, as there was nothing in the fridge save capsules of butter & jam. Next to the kettle, there were sachets of coffee, sugar and tea bags. *the location is not central. But you get what you pay for, and this is the lowest price.

Room was EXTREMELY noisy. You could hear everything in the neighbours' room, you could hear them walking around, turning on a tal, closing a door. It was impossible to sleep unless they were out or also asleep. Pancakes had mould on them. Yes I'm sure.
