Each 'room' is like a small studio cottage with bare stone walls and period dark furniture but also clean and modern in styling and a large comfy bed...excellent shower room also clean & modern and plenty space.”

      And arriving to the hotel quite late after doing a long journey 300 miles. The key on the door would not work on the room. We have to go to reception three times so we could get into the room then during this day throughout the night the light we turned off, kept flashing like they were going to catch fire This kept us up most of the night. However we had to leave quite early to go to dress fitting for my daughter for a wedding didn’t get chance to tell reception just needed to go so this is a complaint which has put me off wanting to come back to the hotel.

      Peaceful and secluded little cabin in a rural area with dedicated parking, kitchenette and shower room. The welcome treats were much appreciated and the lighting inside was good. Convenient for a rural one-night stay while working in the area.

      As previous reviews have noted, the hut would benefit from hooks, so that you could hang up your coats and towels and a hanger to hang up clothes, as there is no space to unpack your things. Also a mirror.

      Clean, modern, good position! The kitchen had everything you needed to cook and clean! Bathroom supplied with toiletries and towels. Overall, we had a lovely stay :)

      Housekeeping knocked on our door early in the morning and woke us up, only to ask what time we would check out when the stated check out time is 11 am. Maybe that could be avoided if reception and housekeeping share that information with each other beforehand.

      I was in cabin L20 It was clean but looking tired as the carpet was not good in a couple of places and I found the energy saving light in the bathroom not very good whilst trying to shave But apart from that it was a good stay
