The staff was really helpful and nice, but also discrete and welcoming. They prepared us a great lunch to take with us on our excursion to the Isle of Skye and some drinks. Everything went smoothly, everything was clean, it was so peaceful and calm in the hotel and in our room. We had a great room, the beds were super comfortable, hadn't slept that deep and peacefully in a long time... Great sense of style and class with that traditional Scottish influence. Thank you so much!

Very central, excellent value for money and surprisingly quiet. Recently renovated, clean, good shower and comfortable beds. Parking at the NCP is 2 minutes walk away. Being able to pay for a slightly later check out was very helpful. Soap, tea and coffee etc provided. Friendly welcome sign was a nice touch. Thank you for a great stay.

Struggled to find it initially- it's a few buildings to the right hand side of the turning for St Botolphs Church and there were 3 key safes - it's the top one! A bathroom and hallway blind would be good and the privacy voile in the twin room would be better on a tension rod as you can't fully close the curtains with it on the same pole as them. The listing includes parking but this is at the NCP car park, not included. Some larger mugs would be good.

It was a lovely stay, the park was beautiful, we walked along the river, it was so peaceful and calm. We were comfortable, our bedroom was nice, we had the disabled bathroom, which we felt could have been designed better for better accessibility.

In the dining room there was dust on the legs of the tables and the window ledges. The lounge where the fireplace is, there was dust and cobweb on the lamps and window ledges. I understand there is a cleaner, but should pay more attention to those areas. We had evening dinner, the menu was good but probably didn't change much, it was a slow service, we waited a while to be served. We would return again, as long as it is more thoroughly cleaned and dusted!

Nice spacious apartment. Very good facilities...heating, kitchen, bedrooms all well equipped and presented. Private balcony was a bonus. Great location for town and situated next to the Royal Crescent.

Interior tired Water tepid when showering and could not adjust. Pillows not comfortable The handle on the bathroom door is missing, leaving a large hole in the door. I was travelling alone, so it's not a problem for me, but not so good if there are two people.

Communication for getting into the apartment is poor, should be up front about this when making reservation on Booking.com and everything can be done more efficiently. I did ask how I access the apartment shortly after I made reservation on Booking,com and was told I will be given details on the day of arrival! On Thursday evening I was sent a separate email asking for Photo ID, I didn't see the email until the Friday morning which was the day of arrival and also my fathers funeral. The email asking for Photo ID was not from Booking.com so I queried it as it seemed suspicious to me, I was told it was ok so I provided my Photo ID. I will not be using Booking.com for these types of reservations again as everything is for you and nothing for the customer. You should review your internal procedures between yourselves and your property owners because I really didn't want to be sending you my Photo ID on the day of my fathers funeral!

The air conditioning/heating system was awful. So loud in the end I had to switch it off completely. Spoke to someone on reception who said she was aware of the problem and offered to put a heater in my room for second night

Not the best of places , stayed in room 1 for one night prior to a flight from Stansted, the Glass shower cubicle door was hanging off ( dangerous ) no hot water from the basin tap , used the kettle which had to be filled using the mugs provided as it will not fit under the tap , the floor in this room is very uneven , just generally grubby . We did have a meal in the Pub but I dread to think what the kitchen was like if this is representative of standards , would not recommend.
