  This is a perfect place to stay. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable, and very clean. I couldn't fault it in any way. The owners are lovely, and because things went wrong for us, they left the lights on and the door unlocked, so we could easily get in late at night in the pouring rain. The scones and jam were a lovely extra touch, and much appreciated, thank you.

  I cannot fault this property in any way. They have done a lovely job, and it's all furnished to a high standard. The only suggestion I could make was perhaps they could look at raising the mirror in the main bedroom...I had to keep squatting to blow dry my hair, and I'm only 5ft tall!

  The location was great. The staff were all lovely and friendly. The room was small and quite basic although the small patio with views of the beach and sea helped. Had the weather been warmer I'm sure we'd have used the patio more. Breakfast was included and the lady taking the orders was nice and friendly.

  The room for the 2 nights we stayed was fine, but it lacked the room for storage for a longer stay. The included breakfast took ages to arrive after ordering, one guest ordered toast and even this took 20+ minutes. The cooked breakfast was OK, but nothing special the bacon was dry and overcooked..

  This hotel met all our criteria. It was perfectly located right beside the train station, the lobby had a charming appeal with a beautiful grand staircase and the rooms were clean and spacious. It was in a location conducive to walking to restaurants and shops.

  The hotel and surroundings were beautiful. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean, slightly on the hot side as radiator were on when we arrived. We had a very pleasant stay and would happily re-book.

  Our first morning we had an exceptionally long wait. Other customers had been waiting over 1 hour for food. When we asked after 1 hour and 15 minutes our order had not been given to the kitchen. The waiter was apologetic and food arrived quickly after that. We had no issues on the 2nd morning.

  Bedroom was clean. The bar area was modern and vibrant.

  Arriving on a Sunday morning, there was no restaurant or bar options throughout the day at all other than self serve drinks in a fridge in reception. The bar didn't open until 5pm on the Sunday which was far too late in my view. Access and parking were a nightmare also - the designated parking spaces are a hazard to anyone!
