I was doing a hike up the Mournes that morning. Meaning I started my day at 6am. The host very kindly had breakfast waiting for me and also had left me some fruit to take with me on my hike. This was so kind and I really appreciated the nourishment as I did my walk.

Great location, really is just 10mins to the abbey which is next to the baths and the spa isn't much further. Comfy and welcoming, would definitely stay here again.

The location is great and we had a lovely river view room which was spotlessly clean. Nice bar and terrace area overlooking the river. Great breakfast!

We visited during the eisteddfod and there was no space in the car park so had to find a long stay car park nearby. I found the bed uncomfortable, the mattress was very soft and I could feel all the springs.

The stairs and no lighting up top of the stairs. For a longer stay perhaps more towels. Overall very happy with the accommodation and would recommend and stay again.

Breakfast was excellent and generous. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location - very well located for our visit.

Room was perhaps a little on the small side - but no problem for our two night stay. Parking was an "extra" and a bit expensive but better than having to park on the street.
