      This is a seriously impressive building steeped in history which is reflected all around to building. Check in was seamless and good information provided by Front of House with regards local eateries and walks into Stratford to avoid the roadworks currently taking place on the main road (not for the faint hearted or less mobile). Room was large in keeping with the hotels size. a tad dated obviously with a few creaky floorboards but this has to be expected and added to the charm and was spotlessly clean. Restaurant and bar area give beautiful views over manicured gardens and the golf course next door and was extremely peaceful. We didn't get chance to use the spa or leisure facilities but they looked very well maintained. Breakfast was simple with the usual choices but well cooked and everything you needed to start the day.

      Loved my stay here! The place was spotless, well-decorated, and had all the amenities I needed. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing great local tips. The location was perfect, close to everything I wanted to see and do. I felt right at home and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

      Very comfortable cottages, all with upstairs terraces, ours overlooked the Loch... very beautiful and great to watch the wonderful wildlife from. Well stocked kitchen, light, very clean. Friendly staff

      Location, and the property it self we are regular user of this hotel we only stay her.

      This time around we had a few issues and I am really disappointed. 1. The room was cold the air conditioning was faulty kept going on and off its self, I called reception they said someone will bring a heater up and maintenance will come up. Unfortunately no one bought a heater up and maintenance were no wear to be seen!! We slept in the cold 2. The next morning at check out I requested to speak to a manager, the manager was in a meeting no manager as of yet, it’s been over 24 hours has contacted me. This is very disappointing as a regular customer, or even as good customer service 24 hours there should be some sort of initial contact made .

      We booked an upgraded room and it was tiny - I am not sure we were even allocated the right type of room it was so small - I was too tired to question it The shower runs directly onto the bathroom fittings and floor making the entire bathroom wet
