A well thought out apartment in a very nice building. Lovely furnishings and a comfortable bed. Great shower and bathroom. There are thoughtful touches everywhere you look. There were tea bags/coffee and a couple of biscuits already in the room. This apartment had everything you might need for a few nights stay. I did not hear a sound from other rooms.. I wasn't at my best as I came down with a flu type virus after arriving so I stayed in for 2 days. I was glad of the safe, comfortable apartment, close to Boots the chemist and a short walk to some cafes and shops for supplies. The big smart TV is great too. It was a short taxi ride to the Royal Mile and the airport and just a fantastic spot all around. The owner was very helpful and easy to deal with. I hope to return one day!

I would have liked to watch tv from bed in my sad and sorry state, but the partition between kitchenette and bedroom area is too high. This maybe on purpose of course, and there are 2 large comfy seats in the lounge area. I am sure most guests are out and about exploring Edinburgh anyway.

The staff was very friendly and consistent. He was very kind and helpful. Also George partner jenny was very lovely and humble. The bar size is impeccable, great interior design and love the picture display on the wall. It was very rock and roll.Only one things it's a shame it was not open when we arrived. But the owner showed us the bar and we was satisfied.

We had excellent diner, no breakfast. Just one night stop over for ferry to Isle of Harris. Some shops and Restaurants just some minutes walk away. Sun downer beer at the pier with great view.

Our room was located on ground level in front of motorbike parking. We had some bad smell of the bikes in the room.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. It was nice having a cafe on site. As the only facilities in the room were for hot/cold drinks.

The shower had very little power. The room wasn’t terribly big and there was only one chair, however, we only stayed one night and were out and about, so it wasn’t too much of a problem.

The shared toilet was a bit far from the pod and it was raining so not ideal. However, this is part of the glamping experience so that's ok.

Bathroom shower in bath very slippery and the shower shampoo etc in a strange place to get . They had building work going on . Didn’t really annoy me but think when booking should day . The hallways looked very tired and needed new carpets but get they are doing up hotel .

Arcades for the kids could be improved, very small not much there. Our room had one window that looked right into the car park but the cars were parked right at the window, for those non sea view rooms you really need to keep your curtains closed for privacy, But it don’t ruin the few nights we had

outside my window was a huge and noisy motor - maybe part of an air con system which started up at 6am. I had a windoown part open for ventilation and was awoken by massive noise. It was also running part of night
