Viv is a most congenial host and when we arrived an hour earlier than expected, she was more than happy to accommodate us and let us in. The room was lovely, the bed comfortable and access to town was an easy 20 minute walk or short bus ride, which was very nice, especially after a day at the Summerton whiskey festival! The breakfast was superb, with all you could need. We felt very welcome the whole stay and will definitely book to come back here should the need arise.

Communication with the host was brilliant 👏 The apartment itself was on the 4th floor but there is a lift which was so good. It was great with 2 spacious bedrooms, bathroom with walk in shower and a livingroom kitchen dining area. All spotless and clear instructions on use of appliances. Loved the balcony area with great views over the harbour and west strand. Loved the blankets that were on the sofa, so much that I went to the same shop and bought one for myself 🙂

There really wasn't anything, had such a lovely stay. I would recommend putting a full length mirror in the bedroom with the 2 single beds for easy.

The location of the Hotel is central to Norwich, the restaurants and bars are on your doorstep. The room was large with a large comfy bed, the en suite bathroom was huge with a deep roll top bath. The breakfast was exceptional with a fantastic fruit selection and the eggs royale was lovely.

There wasn't anything to dislike. Some of the decor was dated but it's part of the feel of the hotel.

Breakfast was not provided but the location was fantastically central and near to cafes, restaurants and bakeries. The room had tea/coffee/biscuits which were replenished.

Nothing - the accommodation was beautiful in an amazing setting with a wonderful view of the Cathedral. There was also a lovely private garden for the residents.

The hotel/pub staff were friendly, welcoming and happy to chat. The room was larger than I'd expected. It was cosy and comfortable.

I couldn't figure out how to use the coffee machine in my room. There were instructions in the information pack, however the writing was very small and I'm not at all patient until after I've my coffee. I had tea instead, which was fine.

There was no view out of the window and we booked it because it was advertised with a view of the runway. Our room looked out over a multi storey car park. As we had paid £233 for one nights stay with no breakfast we, at least, expected a reasonable view (see photos)

Friendly and helpful host. It had character , charm of an old building, very clean, lots towels, good bed.
