  The property was ideal for me, my wife and 18 month daughter. The Hot Tub was excellent and nice way to relax at the end of the day once we put our daughter to bed. I really liked the location, a short walk to the North Bay and 2 minutes walk to Peasholm park. The wine and snacks hamper was a nice touch. The owner was extremely accommodating. We were arriving pretty early on the Monday morning and he messaged me on the day to advise the cleaner would be at our property first to allow us earlier check-in. Obviously helped as we went in a period which wasn’t high demand but it was really appreciated. Lots of toys in the house to top up the ones we brought for our daughter too.

  Stayed over for one night as we were going to a concert. Wasn't able to check-in till 3pm which we already knew. The man on reception called Riz was so apologetic but we were OK about it. Went out for food and drinks then returned to hotel just as Riz was finishing his shift. He immediately came back in the hotel carried our cases to the room we had booked but then showed us another room which was actually a suite with Jacuzzi bath and said we could have that room for the same price as the smaller room we had booked. He was so helpful and caring. Couldn't have asked for more. Breakfast was really nice although no bacon! Would definitely stay here again.

  A wonderful one night stay at The New Inn - Michelle could not be more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are newly decorated and very comfortable & clean. My son had his mountain bike with him and they stored it securely over night for us. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. We would highly recommend The New Inn

  The owner is such a nice person, really helpful and we really enjoyed chatting with her. She was also very helpful and allowed us to get washing done.(she actually did it for us)

  The room was lovely with a single and a double bed. There were 3 armchairs, small table and 2 chairs for this. I just felt there was too much furniture in the room,and very little space to move around.

  The way the so called ‘manager’ spoke to a girl called Chloe who was rushed off her feet and he didn’t think I heard him speak to her like something on his shoe. Shame on him, it spoilt an overall first class experience.
