We had a great stay at Rivendell, the bed was super comfortable, and we had a lovely bay window with 2 chairs overlooking the street which was an unexpected bonus. Breakfast is great, with several choices and really efficiently organised.

It is a little uphill walk back to the accomodation from the harbour area but we usually enjoyed an ice cream on the walk up. The only thing that would make the rooms better is a little bar fridge to chill our water bottles and allow us to keep proper milk for our teas.

Lovely room with everything you need, even a bathtub :) The staff is very nice and helpful. The restaurant is excellent. And there is a big car park which is a huge advantage !

As we was 2 families sharing. One of the bathrooms had a toilet and shower but no sink to wash your hands. The top floor had a really nice shower but no toilet on that floor.

Was promised a 30% refund as our stay got cancelled first night and was put up in a different hotel which was cheaper than what we currently paid here. So inconvenience and difference was meant to be paid back within 15 days. Months later after numerous emails chasing still nothing
