They put in a room that smelled very very bad. They could not move me for one night- offered me a free drink to compensate. But moved me the next day to a better room. The rooms very not very clean .

Both rooms needed a deep clean. They could have offered me 1/2 the room rate for the night I had to stay in a smelly room!!

Upgraded from single room to double room with sea view.

The hotel is being renovated. The owners have just purchased the hotel and are trying to removate whilst accommodating guests. But they should start with the bathroom. All bathrooms are old and falling apart. Breakfast could do with options such as bran flakes cereal and porridge.

The property is not wheelchair accessible as stated in the advertisement and I was told when contacting the property that none of their apartments are. There are at least 8 steps to get into the property and then a full flight of very steep and shallow stairs to get to the bedroom. I am disabled and after 2 hours of trying to get something sorted put following a 5 hour drive we ended up accepting the property but after a couple of hours left as there was just no way I could get to the bedroom. I contacted the property several times directly, as well as booking.com and it seems that neither cared that I was a disabled person who to all intents and purposes had nowhere to stay. In the end I had to pay to stay at alternative accommodation. The whole thing left me feeling degraded and not taken seriously. How can a property be so callous about disability? The property internally was nothing like the photos. There were areas on the worktop in the kitchen where the surface had been burnt through to the wood and the front chipped badly. Carpet strips were either non existent or not fixed down properly. 2 of the fridge door drawers were cracked, the internal door panel for the oven was detached and left in a kitchen cabinet. I could go on but I will leave it there. I contacted the property to advise them we had left within a few hours of accepting the room (which wasn't even ready for near on 2 hours after we arrived) and at this point, 3 days later, mo response has been received. I am disappointed that I can only attach 4 photos as this is not sufficient to show just how bad the property is.
