We booked a family room, the room was spacious enough for us and very clean. The staff at the swimming pool are lovely. And we enjoyed breakfast because there was plenty of choice. Thank you and hopefully we will be back again at some point.

Excellent accommodation close to York city walls and the minster. Quick and easy check-in. Very clean and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen. Clear instructions. Contacting the host by phone was easy.

We checked in promptly because our travel time was quicker than expected. We parked right outside the property. We noticed that after 5pm the street was full and there was no parking available. Guests are advised to arrive promptly if parking is required. We had called ahead of check-in and given our car's registration number for the parking permit but this doesn't guarantee a space outside. It's an over-bathtub shower. No problem for us but might be an issue for an older or disabled person. These are minor points, overall our stay was superb!

It was unfortunate that the fridge freezer didn’t work. We did a big shop on the Friday and had to throw a lot of the food away as it had gone bad. One of the reasons we booked a house not a hotel was so we could cook.
