  It's about what you expect in this price range. I read quite some bad reviews on Booking before staying here. But it was just fine, the staff was very nice, the bed was comfy, sheets clean, fridge working, the shower was nice, and yes there are some black spots on the edges of the shower floor but I really don't care about that and neither should you if you want to book these prices. The temperature & waterpressure was really good, so I was happy! The things I read about it being noisy are true, there are some sirens outside and I could hear the other guests quite well, slamming doors etc.. but for me this was not an issue. The staff was great, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel before check-in and after we checked-out! There is no breakfast but around the subwaystop (Shepherds Bush) there is a Lidl, McDonalds and more who also serve breakfast, so you'll be fine ;-) There also were a lot of power outlets, and the one by the desk even had USB sockets!

  Requested breakfast to "take away" as we had to be on the road by 8:15. This was handled beautifully and the bacon sandwiches were incredible (more bacon than bread - excellent!). Room was cosy but light and quiet. Dinner was very nice and the beer excellent! Loved the quirky room names (we were in tulip!).

  Great location not too far from the city centre and only a 5 minute walk from shops which is ideal. The apartment was very comfortable with great entertainment services.

  Just having the ability to control heating without bothering host. Due to the weather’s unpredictability it would have been ideal if we could adjust the temperature as and how we see fit.

  The check in and check out times are a bit mean maybe a hour earlier to check in and a hour later too check out. Especially as you can have breakfast till 11am in the morning.

  Hotel is very dated the annex building smelt of damp no hot water for shower friendly staff but I think the hotel chain is to blame for letting it get into such a mess .ceilings falling down and full of damp as you walk from reception to pool .I don't blame staff must have a hard job with daily complaints . I know the refurb is ongoing but no body should be in the annexe building full stop should be closed until finished We went as a group of five some rooms were decent two were horrendous had to complain and rooms were changed after numerous complaints but took too long to change Overall not a pleasant stay .p
