Room very well set out, compact but completely usable, staff excellent, friendly and efficient. Immaculately clean, and new. While out of central CBD, hotel is very handy to tube stations and to Paddington station which is well connected to Heathrow.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It was so convenient to have the restaurant right on the property. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We called to ask if we could check in a little early and they accommodated our request.

The location was good, although the road noise was constant.

The place smelled of stale cigarette smoke, which the owner had tried to mask with lots of air fresher. The bathroom was in poor condition with dirty grout and damaged floor covering. The entrance stairs were dirty and smelly, and didn’t feel safe. The owner said someone would meet us at the property to let us in. No one was there to meet us, and we spent 30 minutes trying to get a hold of his office, which was closed on a Saturday. The neighbour came out and was trying to help us get access by calling the cleaning service. Eventually, we got hold of the owner and he sent us an email with the code for the key safe.
