Cairnview B&B is located on a main road, but it was quiet and the outlook was very nice. Parking was perfectly fine. Jenny recommended a very nice pub for tea which was an easy stroll down the road. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of cooked and cold foods. I would highly recommend a stay if you are in the area. Did I mention that the bed was really comfortable??

The hotel is in the market square which is attractive. The interior of the hotel gives the feeling of former times. There is parking at the rear of the hotel for a limited number of cars and needs to be reserved. Evening meal and breakfast are very good. Breakfast is partly buffet and partly served.

Location was excellent for Nia where we were attending a concert. Apartment was bright & clean & had everything you could need. We had a problem getting key code but that wasn’t the host’s fault but the fault of my phone!

Traffic noise but it’s Birmingham city centre so to be expected

Very uncomfortable bed, we both had worst night fever in a Hotel. Cooked part of the breakfast was horrible at £14 expected better. Fish at dinner was oozing oil. We paid £129 for standard room, they got a star to 4 star now it's £169 Hotel is not 4 Star.

We are family of 6, they only provide 2 small soap for the entire stay. But the staff are nice and friendly.

The pub felt a bit unloved. Cider limited to Strongbow. Gents loo 'out of order'. Bar area looked 'very tired'. Outside area needed alot of TLC. Weeds everywhere, planters included. Carpark had more potholes than not. Room was OK, but a few niggles re cleanliness, size and positioning of furniture. We ate at the other village pub, which had a totally different atmosphere, was well presented, well staffed and sold Aspalls cider, which always helps. We didn't get to see the rooms here but based on the downstairs wish we'd have booked here instead despite it being more expensive. Sorry!
