I had English breakfast with porridge and toast. Plenty options available and portions good. David and Sue were friendly and hospitable. The location was ideal, near the centre of Brixham and easy to travel out for site seeing.

The car park is a bit of a lottery. Otherwise, I have no negative comments. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but went to the "Nine Hostages" - highly recommend this!

As described the tower room does not have an ensuite so you have access to the toilet/shower downstairs.. robes are provided ..but still a bit of a nuisance ..if staying again would definitely stay inba room with an ensuite.

We made a last minute booking and arrived late afternoon only to be told we could eat until 8pm as there was a private dining function for 18 people going on. We booked for 8pm and then sat in bar waiting for our allotted time… Various couples and families came in and sat down and ordered meals but it wasn’t even 30% full so I asked if we could eat any sooner but bar manager said ‘No’ because of the private function! He then cam over at 8pm exactly and said we could now order so we didn’t eat to nearly 8.30 He seemed to take pleasure from making us wait and made no effort to apologise- I do not understand what would happen if restaurant had been busy - do they refuse to serve new customers? His attitude spoilt our visit as the hotel itself was very nice

Some staff need customer service training, quite rude at times. 8 of us staying in a dorm and we only received 4 key cards. If we were 8 randomers who didn’t know each other would this have been the same?!
