Host just so lovely, friendly and approachable. She went above and beyond. Breakfast was SUPERB. Bed L O V E L Y and comfy. Immaculate everywhere. Being a horsey girl, the yard a short distance at the back was a bonus I was not expecting. Sitting having a morning cuppa outside was so nice. This is a gem and I would stay here again without even thinking about it.

Situated right in the heart of Aberlour and a minutes walk to the River Spey, this is the perfect base for exploring Speyside and its distilleries. The Mash Tun Hotel with its many whiskies is just across the park. There’s great coffee just across the road. This place is very comfortable and very clean. And the breakfasts are awesome!

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The home made pastries were best I have ever had, thank you! It felt very homely and seeing the lovely garden and the horses through the dining room window was super nice and relaxing.

It was very hot in the room, I realise there is not much else than AC that can be done about it, just be aware in case you book during hot days.

Room 2 is a bit noisy from the chillers at the back and the view wasn’t great but for 1 night it was great. Asked for a particular item on menu which was displayed out the front on the wall but was told - we aren’t doing that anymore and given a completely different menu. Might want to update the one outside.
