  Staff were amazing. Connor was a great bar man with interesting conversations and helpful advice. And Sophie was also extremely helpful and made everything easy after a long day. They were both a credit to Garvock. A tip is coming by the end of this week for them both. The grounds are amazing and I had a fantastic nights rest in a lovely comfortable bed.

  Disgusting place to stay! It's not a hotel. It is a house. With very very squeaky noisy stairs. It is un manned. You let yourself in. You do the cleaning. Dirty beds looks like they wasn't even changed from the previous people. location is a bit of a tricky find especially getting the bus back into town or wherever you need to go. This made me late for an appointment trying to find correct bus stop. If you like cleaning this is the place for you, you'll have a field day! Bedroom Full of spiderwebs and dust and the window has no latch and this was supposedly the family room. I was with 2 small children one of them could've fallen out the window, very dangerous, bathroom sink is no wonder everyone gives a review on that. Needs a new seal. Pubic hairs in the bath. No handle on bathroom door. Tissue stuffed in a hole to stop peepers watching you bath. Disgusting mop that you're expected to wring out! Bath is high getting out of not good if have backache. People leaving empty bottles of shampoo everywhere. Would not recommend.

  Staff was very unhelpfull and rude. Pool and steam rooms were grubby. Room was a family room booked for 3, but there was only bedding for 2. It took over 4 hours and 3 requests to get extra bedding for our son. Very overpriced drinks, £21.00 for 2 drinks, we had just got back from a cruise and paid half of that amount.
